Jerry St. Amand, OTR/L, CHT
Westside Clinical Manager
Jerry was born and raised in Slidell, LA. He attended La Tech Univ for undergrad and Texas Tech Univ HSC for OT school. After OT school, Jerry enlisted in the Army as a medic to pay off his student loans. He deployed to Iraq in 2003 as part of the initial invasion. Upon return, he left the Army and went to work in several different hospital-based OT settings. After 3 years, Jerry returned to active duty as an OT this time and spent 7 years learning hand therapy and caring for our military’s best. Jerry got married and left active duty to provide a more stable environment for his family: 2 teenage step-daughters and his 22 month-old son. When he’s not chasing him around, they enjoy camping, hiking, and the beach. Jerry likes endurance sports and completed in an iron-distance triathlon in 2012 (2.4 mi swim, 112 mi bike, 26.2 mi run). They are new to Portland and the PNW and very excited to get out and experience what this area has to offer!
