Ethan Collier, DPT, Director
Ethan is the Director of Clackamas SportsCare. A native from California, he moved to the Northwest after receiving his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University. He has had extensive training in manual therapy and rehabilitating the injured worker. He treats a variety of orthopedic conditions including sports injuries, whiplash and specializes in spinal dysfunctions. In his spare time, Ethan enjoys spending time with his family.
Jacob Schneller, DPT
Jacob was born and raised in Canton, South Dakota. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from South Dakota State University in 2012 while competing as a member on both the Track & Field and Cross Country teams. He moved west after undergraduate school to attended Pacific University in Hillsboro, OR, where he earned his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2015. A true outdoorsman, Jacob enjoys anything that gets him in nature including running, biking, hiking and camping.
Kevin Eischen, DPT
Kevin was born in Portland, Oregon, and attended Barlow High School. He enrolled at Oregon State University where he later completed his Bachelor Degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences. Kevin continued his education at Touro University in Nevada, earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. Kevin specializes in return to sport exercises and continues to build on his strong knowledge of manual based therapy. When away from the office, Kevin enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, off-roading in his Jeep, camping, motorcycles and working on cars. Fun fact: Kevin is a third generation physical therapist. His grandfather, Clem Eischen, started SportsCare in 1953.
Doris Vrvilo, PTA
Doris graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in 1984. She began her career working at Lake Oswego Physical Therapy specializing in a manual therapy. She then went on to work for a number of years with Clem and George Eischen at the Gresham and Lloyd Center offices. Doris went to work for Portland Adventist Medical Center for the next 17 years until June 2007 when she rejoined the SportsCare clinics dividing her time between the Gateway/Parkrose and Clackamas offices. She has taken several courses specializing in medical exercise therapy, also including Mulligan and McKenzie techniques. In her spare time, Doris enjoys hiking and skiing, gardening, travel and watching volleyball matches.
Erin Collison, PTA
Erin was born and raised in Portland, OR. She attended Portland State University where she earned a Bachelor Degree in Health Sciences in 2006. Following her time at PSU, Erin decided to become a Physical Therapy Assistant and entered the program at Mt. Hood Community College. Since graduation, Erin has worked in both the outpatient orthopedic and home health settings. In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, hiking and good food. Erin is a seasoned half marathon runner and looks forward to many more races in the near future.
Heidi Loebach, MS, ATC Clackamas High School
Heidi completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training at Creighton University in 2006 and graduated from Oregon State University in 2008 with a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science. While at OSU, she worked with the Men’s and Women’s Rowing Teams as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. Heidi enjoys all outdoor activities, but is especially fond of hiking and camping with her dog, playing softball, and snowboarding.
Erika Irwin, ATC Rex Putnam High School
Erica was born in Germany and raised in Hawaii. She moved to Canada in 2003 to study at Trinity Western University in Langley B.C. and earn her undergraduate in Kinesiology. Following her education at TWU, she attended Mount Royal College for her Athletic Training Certification. She is also a certified EMT. Erica joined SportsCare in November of 2009 and currently works as the Athletic Trainer for Rex Putnam High School. In her free time Erica enjoys living life, getting out and having fun. Her major passions are Jesus Christ, surfing, and hiking.
Sam Nicholas, Aide
Sam was born and raised in Gresham, Oregon. He graduated from Oregon State University in 2012 with a degree in both Civil Engineering and New Media Communications, but shifted his career path after working with persons with physical and mental disabilities at Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp. He plans on beginning a graduate program in Physical Therapy in the near future. Sam’s major passions include being outdoors in the beautiful Pacific NW, traveling the globe, and the Portland Timbers and Trailblazers. During his free time, Sam enjoys playing soccer, rock climbing, cycling and backpacking in the Columbia River Gorge and the Mt. Hood wilderness.
Erik Kaufman, Aide
Erik was born in Columbus, OH but grew up in Portland, OR. He went to Willamette University and earned a degree in economics. While at Willamette, Erik spent some time in the athletic training room which sparked an interest in injury rehabilitation. After graduating, Erik changed career mindsets and entered a post-baccalaureate program at Portland State University with the goal of eventually attaining a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is currently in the application process. Erik enjoys staying fit, playing soccer, hanging out with friends and family, and in his rare free time, immersing himself in a good story whether that is a book or show.
Jennifer Howard, Front Office
Jennifer was born in Aalen, Germany but grew up in Eugene, Oregon. Considered a Platypus, Jennifer spent three years at Oregon State University then finished her last year at University of Oregon, earning a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. She has worked mainly in education, including stents at Portland State University, North Clackamas School District and office administration roles at the University of Oregon. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys volunteer work, traveling and spending time with her family.
