Ethan Collier, DPT, Director
Ethan is the Director of Clackamas SportsCare. A native from California, he moved to the Northwest after receiving his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University. He has had extensive training in manual therapy and rehabilitating the injured worker. He treats a variety of orthopedic conditions including sports injuries, whiplash and specializes in spinal dysfunctions. In his spare time, Ethan enjoys spending time with his family.
Jacob Schneller, DPT
Jacob was born and raised in Canton, South Dakota. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from South Dakota State University in 2012 while competing as a member on both the Track & Field and Cross Country teams. He moved west after undergraduate school to attended Pacific University in Hillsboro, OR, where he earned his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2015. A true outdoorsman, Jacob enjoys anything that gets him in nature including running, biking, hiking and camping.
Joe Shannon, DPT
Joe was born in Portland, OR, and grew up in the Oak Hills neighborhood, right across the street from the Beaverton clinic. After graduating from Westview High School, Joe attended Oregon State University, where he graduated at the top of his class with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science. He later earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Easter Washington University and was awarded the Faculty Merit Award for academics, leadership and professionalism. Joe is no stranger to SportsCare Physical Therapy… Before entering his doctorate program, Joe took a year off from school to work and play in Portland, where he gained a valuable head start working as an aide under Ethan Collier, DPT (Clackamas SportsCare). In his free time, Joe enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and golden retriever, mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding and trying new sports and activities. He is honored to be serving the same community he grew up in.
Doris Vrvilo, PTA
Doris graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in 1984. She began her career working at Lake Oswego Physical Therapy specializing in a manual therapy. She then went on to work for a number of years with Clem and George Eischen at the Gresham and Lloyd Center offices. Doris went to work for Portland Adventist Medical Center for the next 17 years until June 2007 when she rejoined the SportsCare clinics dividing her time between the Gateway/Parkrose and Clackamas offices. She has taken several courses specializing in medical exercise therapy, also including Mulligan and McKenzie techniques. In her spare time, Doris enjoys hiking and skiing, gardening, travel and watching volleyball matches.
Heidi Loebach, MS, ATC Clackamas High School
Heidi completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training at Creighton University in 2006 and graduated from Oregon State University in 2008 with a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science. While at OSU, she worked with the Men’s and Women’s Rowing Teams as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. Heidi enjoys all outdoor activities, but is especially fond of hiking and camping with her dog, playing softball, and snowboarding.
Erika Irwin, ATC Rex Putnam High School
Erica was born in Germany and raised in Hawaii. She moved to Canada in 2003 to study at Trinity Western University in Langley B.C. and earn her undergraduate in Kinesiology. Following her education at TWU, she attended Mount Royal College for her Athletic Training Certification. She is also a certified EMT. Erica joined SportsCare in November of 2009 and currently works as the Athletic Trainer for Rex Putnam High School. In her free time Erica enjoys living life, getting out and having fun. Her major passions are Jesus Christ, surfing, and hiking.
Jade Baldwin, Front Office
Jade was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but was raised mostly in rural Washington. After high school, she began a career in grocery management; spending a total of 17 years in this business. She brought both her passion to help people and excitement for organization, and feels this makes her a great fit for her role. In her free time, Jade enjoys spending time with her family including partner Alfredo, 10-year-old stepson Antonio and 2-year-old daughter Penelope. Her family loves traveling, being outside and trying new places to eat.
Melissa Gomez, Front Office
Melissa was born in Edmonds, Washington. She attended University of Portland where she majored in Biology while captaining he Pilots Rowing team. San Francisco was her next stop, where she coached rowing and found her love for physical therapy. Melissa’s future plans include starting a physical therapy program and working in sports rehabilitation. In her free time, Melissa enjoys staying busy. You can find her rowing, hiking, running, baking or hanging out with friends and family. On her lazy days, Melissa will be at a coffee shop reading a good book drinking a triple latte.
