Joe Fricke, PT, Director
Joe is a North Dakota native who graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1987. He remains active in competitive cycling, designs training programs for athletes, competes in a variety of sports and fitness activities and also enjoys skiing and strength training. Joe has completed a variety of courses in Manual Therapy techniques and has a good deal of experience treating spinal and orthopedic conditions. Joe began working for Clem Eischen in 1987, and after five years, worked with Providence Hospital and served as the Director of their Gateway Satellite Clinic. He earned the Mission Medal while at Providence. In 1999, he partnered with George Eischen and opened Gateway-Parkrose SportsCare, treating general orthopedics and spine patients, while also assisting treatment of local high school and college athletes.
Kristin DeVoto, PT
A native Arizonian, Kristin received her Physical Therapy Degree from Northern Arizona University in 1999. She started her career at Gresham SportsCare and then opened and directed the Damascus Clinic from October 2002 through March 2005. Kristin specializes in outpatient orthopedics, sports and work injuries and custom foot beds. Kristin was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger, West Africa from 1989-1991. She enjoys playing indoor soccer, surfing and a variety of other athletic activities.
Tony Rosati, DPT
Tony was born and raised on the California coast. He moved to the Northwest after receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport & Exercise Science then a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Gannon University in Pennsylvania. Tony treats a variety of orthopedic conditions including work place injuries, sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, post surgical recovery, spinal injuries, and vertigo/balance disorders. When Tony is not working at the clinic he enjoys hiking, surfing, tennis, spending time with family, and settling down with a good book during those rainy Oregon days.
Jana White, PTA
Jana graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in 1992. Upon graduating, she worked with Joe Fricke and helped him open a Satellite Clinic for Providence Hospital. Jana has a love for dance and enjoys working with dance related injuries. She has completed all 4 levels of strain-counter strain and finds it a useful tool when dealing with a variety of injuries. Jana has also completed a strength-training course. Jana loves to visit tropical regions of the world and remains active in jazz and tap dancing.
Nelson Helland, PT Aide
Originally from Montana, Nelson moved to Gresham, Oregon in 2001. He attended Centennial High School and graduated in 2004. Following high school, Nelson went on to earn his Bachelors of Science degree at Linfield College. Since college, Nelson has enjoyed working for SportsCare PT. In his free time he remains active participating in various outdoor activities including snowboarding and football.
Marlenne Wiseman, Office Manager
Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, Marlenne relocated to Vancouver, Washington in 2010. In Eugene, she attended Lane Community College prior to joining the SportsCare team in June of 2010. Marlenne is half Costa Rican, half Nicaraguan and fluent in Spanish. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter. She also plays on a competitive traveling softball team and also enjoys participating in soccer and volleyball.
