SportsCare Physical Therapy Athletic Trainers
SportsCare initiated an athletic training program in 2002 for local area high schools. The athletic trainers spend their mornings in the physical therapy clinic and transition to the high schools in the afternoons and evenings. At the high schools, the ATCs oversee all practice and game coverage, working to prevent, evaluate, treat injuries and implement rehabilitation programs. Through a collaborated team approach with the physical therapy clinic and physicians, athletes are able to receive further treatment at an accelerated rate. Our goal with this program is to maintain the health and safety of our highly competitive athletes.
