Tomiko Saldia, MS, PT, RTY, Cert. MDT
Tomiko was born in Wichita, Kansas. As a military child, she moved around frequently and has lived in Illinois, Michigan, California, Oregon, Colorado, Washington and Okinawa, Japan (ages 9-14) where her mother is from. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1996 and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1997 from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. Tomiko has mostly worked in the outpatient setting, but has also worked in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home health settings. For half of her career, Tomiko has been self-employed working as a Holistic Physical Therapist. This has given her the opportunity to integrate additional therapy techniques such as Yoga (has been a student sine 1999) and Mechanical Diagnosis. Tomiko is a trauma informed physical therapist with extensive experience in chronic/persistent pain, pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedic, and neurological conditions. In her spare time, Tomiko loves spending time with her family. As a group, they enjoy cooking, vacationing, biking, hiking, exploring the scenery of the Pacific Northwest and improving their skills in archery.
